Chisel to produce smooth faces on pole lathe work.

2" (50mm) cutting edge

A shorter more compact alternative to a 2" Pole Lathe Flat Chisel which can also be used as conventional chisel.

Alongee style, i.e. the blade taper gradually all the way from the shoulder.

Blade 6" (150mm) long with a single canel (bevel) ground to 25 degrees.

The cannel is slightly hollow ground and sharp, ready to use.

Beech handle with brass ferrule 6" long.

Total length 12".
