Description
The Ray Iles LARGE FROE is suitable for most medium-duty work.
Use to accurately split green roundwood, typically to produce billets for cleft gates or chair components. Often used in conjunction with a cleaving break.
Two versions available:

- PREMIUM
SELECT FROM THE DROP-DOWN BOX ABOVE.
The eye is tapered, so the blade is driven onto the handle with each whack of a wooden maul and can be dismantled for storage.
The blade, made from EN9 spring steel is 250mm (10″) long, 50mm (2″) deep and 9mm (3/8″) at its thickest.
The lightly oiled beech handle is 370mm (14 1/2″) long.
Total weight 900 grams.
