The Morris RUTLAND Billhook is a regional style of billhook not often seen. A.Morris and Sons of Dunsford must be the only company still willing to make these.
Unlike the majority of billhooks this one has a convex curved cutting edge, so a good tool for laying small to medium size stems over in hedging. Also, a useful tool to point stakes.
Made from forged EN9 Medium carbon steel for good edge retention.
Centrally ground double-sided bevels which are long and gently convex without significant shoulders.
Caulked handle in ash to reduce rolling in the hand.
