INDIAN CROOK KNIFE, Internal Bevel by Ben Orford, the iconic knife for single handed planing cuts.
Made in the UK by respected tool maker Ben Orford.
A feature that characterises a North American Indian crook knife is the longer cranked handle giving the option to hold the knife in a drawing position.
This one has the bevel on the inside, making it ideal for planing cuts, as you might use a drawknife.
As the blade leaves the handle it is flat for about 50mm (2″) and slightly cranked upwards making it comfortable for drawing strokes.
If you are right handed, select the right handed knife, if you are left handed select the left handed knife
